Memories can do wonders… if you let them… It’s those little things that are the most important… those little everyday things that make you feel the luckiest person in the whole wide world… just lucky to be alive and being able to live through moments like these… and the best thing about them… they don’t have to be old memories…

Last weekend was great…

I had my meals… yes some stress…sure

…but how can a man let that affect him when he has a goofy giggling face of a 15 month old in front of him …along with a party of 3 other creatures chatting their heart out… making silly jokes about things like superman’s underwear and cross eyed monsters? (don’t ask)

…and even though it means he’ll “get bigger” or has a erupting volcano under his shirt… or that he will have to go back and be away from them… (and/or at least he wishes those things didn’t matter the way they really do) ….those are the creatures that make the world turn around… and what makes each day during the week, away from them a little bit easier as he knows they will be there waiting for him to come back…

…and yes even during the week… when normally he would feel like the whole world is against him… and feeling scared and alone… he realizes…that’s only in his imagination… He’s scared… yes… but he’s not alone… and the whole world isn’t against him… the world… his whole world, his family… wants him back… and to be able to giggle and make silly jokes with him… everyday…

…and so he takes a deep breath… and thinks of them… while he finishes of his meal…
